You need a role this month
Senior conversations take weeks to arrange and months to convert. If rent is due in thirty days, a retainer with us is the wrong use of that money. Take the audit, fix the CV yourself, and come back when you have runway.
Your record does not support the level you want
We reposition evidence. We do not manufacture it. If you are a Head aiming at CXO with no P&L and no board exposure, we will say so in the audit and decline the engagement.
You want us to apply everywhere
If what you want is volume — hundreds of applications, any role, fast — there are firms that do that for a tenth of our fee. We are not better than them at it. We simply do not do it.
You cannot give us three hours a month
The positioning session, the approvals and the Friday report need you. A search moves only as fast as your approvals, and we would rather not start than take a fee for a search you cannot take part in.
You are early in your career
Below roughly eight years and Head-of-function scope, the economics do not work for you. Naukri's own services and a good resume writer will do more for less.
Why publish this?
Because the most common complaint about this kind of service comes from people who should have been turned away and were sold to instead. We would rather say no early.
